Outreach & Extracurricular

Outside of the academic world, I have been involved in many amazing opportunities, which have allowed me to further interests not as feasible in my coursework.

Quarryscape Elevation | 2025

AIA Columbia, SC - Merit Award, Quarryscape

Spring 2025

Received the Merit Award for my project, Quarryscape, completed during the Spring semester of my Sophomore year. Quarryscape features an arts center functioning as the link between the arts district and bordering quarry. Exploring the form of this unique manmade geological element, the project inverts the walls of an excavated void into a solid, juxtaposing the external masses with a light and delicate biophilic atrium. The mise-en-scène of the winding landscape is reminiscent of the aftereffects of a quarry in rebirth. Whether atop the multiple green roofs, a grassy amphitheatre, or on the circumambulatory museum exhibits, each step through this sequence of delineated scenes urges the gathering of community and nature.
